Lonnie Randolph is not a newcomer to the State Senate or to public service. He previously served District 2 for six years before becoming a judge for the East Chicago City Court. Randolph was a deputy prosecuting attorney for Lake County and also worked as a county attorney in Illinois.
Randolph, who earned his bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and his law degree from the John Marshall School of Law, is currently a practicing attorney in East Chicago. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana and Illinois State Bar Associations, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
An active member of his community, Randolph is involved in several different organizations. He is a member of the East Chicago Lions Club and the Masons Lakeside Lodge No. 47 in East Chicago. He is also president of the East Chicago NAACP, a member of the advisory board for the Hammond YMCA and a member of the board for the East Chicago Katherine Boys Club of America.
Randolph and his wife live in East Chicago. They have two children. |
