Indiana Senate Democratic Caucus
  Fred Demske
Fred Demske
Location: Kendallville
District seeking: 13

Fred Demske handled the finances of many people in District 13 over the years as the CEO of Community State Bank. Now he hopes to handle their political needs, too.

Demske’s fiscal expertise and business acumen would make him an asset to the Senate. He retired from the bank earlier this year after 46 years of service, during which he rose from cashier to CEO. He recently served as a member of the Indiana Bankers Association board of directors and as a member of the Avilla Chamber of Commerce.

Demske, an Army veteran, has also played an active role in his community as a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Eagles and the American Legion, where he serves as the finance officer. He was active with the Boy Scouts for many years. Demske has also served on the boards of the United Way and the YMCA and as a board member and president of the Noble County Community Foundation.

Life-long residents of District 13, Demske and his wife Linda have been married 41 years and have two grown children. They attend St.Mary’s Catholic Church.
